FBI: Most Wanted – Gut Job – Review: Lord, Have Mercy.
This week, FBI: Most Wanted took us on a unique and unpredictable adventure with “Gut Job,” blending the melodrama of a soap opera with the grit of a police procedural. It was gloriously excessive and unapologetically soapy—making for a thoroughly entertaining watch. Let’s review. The episode opens with Special Agent Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) navigating a date with her Gen Z girlfriend. It’s clear she feels like a fish out of water among the hipster crowd, eventually blurting out, “I swear it’s not you. I just want to be alone.” Ouch. “Gut Job” – FBI: MOST WANTED, Pictured (L-R): Roxy Sternberg as Special Agent Sheryll Barnes and “FBI” Series Star…

Christopher Wilton-Steer’s 25,000-Mile Journey Captures a Contemporary View of an Ancient Trade Route
From aerial views of modern-day Venice to a 15th-century caravanserai in Kyrgyzstan, Christopher Wilton-Steer’s awe-inspiring photographs capture contemporary views of life along a series of 1,500-year-old trade routes. An extraordinary historical, cultural, and archaeological phenomenon, the Silk Road connected China in the East to Rome and the Mediterranean in the West. Around 4,000 miles long in its entirety and comprising numerous linking routes—some of which still exist as highways today—the network was used to transport valuable silks from China westward while sending wool and precious metals east. Travelers also transmitted global news, religious beliefs, and disease—most famously The Black Death in the 14th century—along the storied route. An aerial view…
Will Trent – One of us Now – Review: Olas Collective Night Fever
Will Trent’s Olas Collective arc had the potential for a gripping finale, but the episode, “One of Us Now,” landed with a silly whimper, not a bang. The show took a curious detour, descending into a “Cop Rock” oddity that turned the cast into characters plucked from Saturday Night Fever. Let’s break it down. Special Agent Will Trent (Ramon Rodriquez), blindfolded on a bus last episode, wakes up to an unsettling “baptism” at the Olas Collective. Rain Wood (Robin Weigert) announces that a retreat participant, Quincy (Anthony S. Goolsby) will be leaving. Will tries to talk to Quincy—no luck. “One of Us Now” – WILL TRENT, Pictured: Ramon Rodriguez as…

The Rookie – Three Billboards – Review : The Rich Life
Spoilers below : The start of 7×13 is one of my favourite cold opens from this season, I’m definitely liking the growing friendship between Miles (Deric Augustine) and Celina (Lisseth Chavez), Miles really has opened up over the course of the season, from saying he didn’t need any help from Celina on his first day to going for early morning runs with her. The Mid-Wilshire crew are always going through something, and this episode is no different. Nolan’s (Nathan Fillion) billboard seen at the start of the episode is just the start of this episodes antics towards the LAPD. Normally the change in title cards means a high intense…
